A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for a site to work at all; others watch how it is used. This page sets out exactly which ones SSLHLA uses, what each is for, and how to change your mind at any point.
Our approach
Nothing that measures or identifies you is loaded until you accept it. Until you make a choice, no analytics request is made and no analytics cookie exists — the tracking script itself is never fetched, rather than being loaded in a restricted state. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, this site collects no analytics about your visit whatsoever.
We use analytics only in aggregate, to see which pages are read and how people arrive. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share what we collect.

Changing your choice
You can change your mind whenever you like, and nothing is final. Declining after having previously accepted also deletes the analytics cookies already set, rather than merely stopping new ones.
The same control sits at the foot of every page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, which will override anything chosen here.
Embedded content
The S.V. Collection page displays the magazine through Calaméo, an outside publishing service. When that page loads its reader, Calaméo may set its own cookies, which are governed by their policy rather than ours. No other page on this site embeds third-party content.
Links to our partners and to social networks are ordinary links. Nothing is loaded from those sites unless you choose to follow one.
